2021-02-26T1 - Thematic Issue "Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)" was announced in April 2020 for the manuscripts submitted until September 30, 2020 year. We received around 200 manuscripts, they were sent to reviewers, and only manuscripts with positive review were included in the Thematic Issue (free of charge). Publication of all articles was financially supported by the Scientific Foundation SPIROSKI, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.

OAMJMS and MJMS divided in the SCOPUS Database!
2017-11-02Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences (MJMS) (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nlmcatalog/101519209) cancelled its publication in 2013 year and continues as an Open Access Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences (OAMJMS) (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nlmcatalog/101662294). SCOPUS database decided to keep previous name of the journal (Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences) and to add “Open Access†as modification until November 2017. Finally, SCOPUS database decided to divide both journals and connect them. At the moment metrics of both journals can be visible at SCImago Journal & Country Rank (SJR) as a whole, but next year they will be separately shown. 2016-06-19The number of researchers participating in SciRev keeps growing. There are already over 3000 peer review experiences available at our website that can be used to compare the performance of journals.

2016-06-09With great pleasure, I would like to inform you that Open Access Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences (OAMJMS) was included in the PubMed Central database (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/journals/2987/).  PubMed Central® (PMC) is a free archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM). In keeping with NLM’s legislative mandate to collect and preserve the biomedical literature, PMC serves as a digital counterpart to NLM’s extensive print journal collection. Launched in February 2000, PMC was developed and is managed by NLM’s National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
